Quality | Super dense nugs that are dried excellently and all the way through. Tight pockets of evergreen calyxes spit out short rustic red hairs, with barely any leaf to be found on these beautifully manicured flowers. The buds aren't very sticky, but are still coated with a sheen of amber trichromes and plenty of resin. Whoever tended to this batch I salute your ability to creating some amazing Cannabis with genuine medicinal properties - bravo. |
Smell | 4.5/5Incredibly pungent pine smell typical of top shelf OG's, but this one has more distinct layers of aromas and a scent even non-smokers would find appealing. From underneath the predominantly sharp pine oil smell, hints of citrus, pungent flowers, ammonia and even a slightly smokey smell escape in a delicious blend when the nugs are broken open. Smells similar to Jupiter OG (a strain that has been floating around the San Diego Collectives for a while now), one of my favorite smelling OG's until this strain took the cake. |
Taste | 3.8/5An incredibly smooth smoke indicating an excellent cure over a long period of time. It has a classic lightly piny flavor that doesn't aggressively cottonmouth or leave any aftertaste. The taste is very simple, but clean and free of unpleasant chlorophyll and impurities. Vaporize for the full effect. |
Effect | 4.8/5If you can, imagine the beginning of a horse-race with all of the horses lined up at the gates, each snorting and pawing at the ground, jockey's anxiously awaiting the start of the race. That's you with your respective piece in hand, bowl packed and when that lighter clicks that's the moment that the announcers say "And they're off!" - and you are. The onset is immediate and powerful, for a moment there I felt like an evil mastermind cackling at my own power, but I was really just giggling at how medicated I was and how active this strain made my imagination. Superb head high and a tingling body high, great for chronic pain, anxiety and depression. If you have the means, I highly recommend it. |
